Dear Tee, many people have visited Hampton Court Palace and I am most glad you have. As I stated in my Article it is both beautiful and haunting at the same time, and to us with its history it is. However it is not that old to some of the things we have around here. For yesterday I was in Norfolk looking at a church built in the early 11th century, and it was stunning! The oldest inhabited house near me is circa 800 AD, and the oldest church is 749 AD.
I cannot look at it all as there are 1471 parks in London alone. Yet as you know our Island is but very small, being only 866 miles long as the crow flies!
I thank you for your kind comments.
Regards from a cold and windy England.
Neil.
