Hi Jane, Yep, same here. Was in the mid-60s a couple days ago, today 20s and snow (2-4 inches) predicted tonight. We had such a bizarrely mild winter (until January) that the robins apparently NEVER LEFT, which is something that I find very worrying. They've been hanging around the garden; I put out storage apples and they seem to be pecking at them. Local naturalist says robins will eat fruit instead of worms when the ground is frozen, so I guess that's how they've been surviving.
Saw my first GRACKLES yesterday! That's a real sign of spring too...they're my favorite birds. I love their call...sounds like water dripping into a deep well.
