Hen and Chicks (Sempervivum 'Jet')

I got this one from Erwin Geiger a few years ago. Often shows beautiful watermarks and gets very dark colored in the fall.

It is a beauty Chris.
How has it handled the changes of weather?

It did fine last year, but haven't seen it yet this year - still under snow!

This semp. Is a good chick producer. I will have to check mine today.

those rodents with the bushy tail are on my bad list. Had to replant 'Jet'. Greedy little buggers, plenty of food but they have to stash some under my prize plants. Think I need a new fur hat.

I had mine netted all winter. I have to do that for the young plants, otherwise the jays and squirrels play with them.
