First bloom for this little guy. Such neat little trees.

Another of my Mini-Size obesum's pushing out blooms. Interesting how close the color of flowers are.

I guess the one thing I see different, is that the first plant has blooms with a more solid red. The second plant has a definite dark side to petals and more white closer to the throat. Also, petals on bloom are more reflexed.

I couldn't make up my mind on which one I liked the best, the first that was posted on March 11 or the second that was posted on April 4. They're both so pretty!

Such big flowers for a small tree. I like
I just got my dwarf from Rinoa. How deep did you plant yours. Oh yours are from seed. I thought to put mine as deep as she had it.
Are all dwarf so compact without trimming? This will be a plant that I don't think will need raised. How deep is the pot they are in?

Audrey, Sorry I missed your question. The seedlings are 22 mths. Approx.

Crystalview, There are what they call Dwarf & those called Mini-Size. One has smaller blooms I believe.
I would pot up at same level Rinoa had it at. These do not grow as quickly as other obesum's.
The pots I have these in are 4" pots w a depth of 3 1/2".

These where started from seed of Adenium_Ko of Taiwan. They where purchased as Mini-Size Obesum (mixed hybrids). I have one other of his a year older from seed of Mini-Size Sun-Up Star. This one has not bloomed.

The one that you just got. Is it one of the ones Rinoa had on site of Seed grown Mini ?

She was out of the one like yours that you lost. So It's her grafted Mini pink. I am not sure which is mini or if both the caudex and the graft are mini and or seed grown. I will ask. Good idea

Thank you Rick I tip my hat to you. I am still learning about these fantastic plants and have taken a interest to these "minis" I really like it when someone adds a photo and also includes the age. It really does help and it gives me something to look forward to with my seedlings. I have read almost every thread here trying to learn as much as I can. I passed up some unlabled mature specimens the other day after already checking out for only $10! Can you believe that I either all the sudden sprouted will power, was sick in the head, or just lost my way back to a good deal? Shrug!
