for Graptosedum please. Or would a Grapto- parent be possible? Which could include Graptoveria, Graptosedum, Graptopetalum. TYVM for your wise consideration!

Interested in seeing how this will be done. I do think it would be great to have a Parent Plant entry for these great succulents.

Can you take a close up photo of the plant?
What a wonderful sight it would be to see my lawn bloom like that.

We now have genus level entries for
Leatherpetal (Graptopetalum)
XGraptophytum
Graptosedum (XGraptosedum)
Graptoveria (XGraptoveria)

I'll look into creating a Graptos custom database.

Since common name(s) and data that occur on the Parent Plant page are copied to all other entries:
Does Leatherpetal apply to all of them?
What data points apply to all?
What would you like to name this custom database?
Are there any other genera you would like included?

Included genera:
Graptopetalum
XGraptophytum (Graptopetalum x Pachyphytum)
XGraptosedum (Graptopetalum x Sedum)
XGraptoveria (Graptopetalum x Echeveria)

Genera involved:
Leatherpetal (Graptopetalum)
Genus Pachyphytum
Sedums (Sedum)
Echeverias (Echeveria)

Good questions! I hope someone who has answers to them will help out. I've only scratched the surface by having 1 or 2 of these Grapto- plants. Maybe @Baja_Costero

I'm familiar with Echeverias and their hybrids, much less so with the other plants. Presumably the hybrids in question would be

Cactus/Succulent
Perennial
Xeriscapic
Needs excellent drainage in pots

as a starting point anyway. Most of the genera involved are Mexican members of the succulent Crassulaceae (roughly, ranging from the SW US through Central America) and that would be the thing that they share in common.

While we're at it, I'm going to propose a modification to the Echeveria parent listing to remove these two features (true of some but definitely not all members of the genus).

Good fall color
Unusual foliage color
