Yes, I do Janet. However, this may not be from any of the seeds I sowed. It might, it might not be. It could just be something that has been here. The former owners kept it mowed to within an inch of it's life. We have been here since 3/15/13 and last year there were "wildflowers" that appeared which had not previously. I expect things kept getting cut and just barely survived which are finally making themselves known since we only mow in the fall. They are getting a chance now to grow & BE. These are the mixes I sowed. I have sown other seeds but I know this is not from those. I've sown more phlox, rudbeckia, coreopsis & others I would recognize easily.

Ann, I'm now thinking maybe they are the African Daisies. Here's a photo from the database that shows at least some leaves and the shape is pretty similar. I forgot to ask, how big are they?

Could it be a Gaillardia? (There is one in both seed lists).

since i was wrong with first guess i didnt say my second guess, which is gaillardia. DH was mowing yesterday and nicked the tops off so they are mangled and hard to compare. hopefully mine will bounce back and later in the spring we will get a better idea what you have. My gaillardia is unknown seeds self collected on vacation 2014 in florida, it had a lovely pinkish bloom like the new punchbowl variety. if thats what you have its gorgeous and under 24".

When I first saw it I thought gaillardia but then there was a blooming gaillardia growing within a foot of the small ones & they look nothing alike at all! It's possible it's a different variety but I haven't found anything photo wise I can say with certainty pegs mine as gaillardia. That's when I decided to put it on the ID thread. I think I'm just going to have to wait until at least buds form. Shouldn't be long I'm thinking.

It could be Engelmannia http://www.wildflower.org/plan...
Or Gaillardia http://www.wildflower.org/plan...
Sorry if already has been suggested, I didn't have time to read all the thread. Smiling
