'Clouds of Kisses' is a semi-evergreen diploid introduced in 2001 by Greg McMullen. Greg did his hybridizing at Watson Park Daylilies in Indianapolis, Indiana. No further information is available. (His website no longer exists.)

Clouds of Kisses is new to me as of last summer. I bought this plant at my favourite local daylily nursery. I first saw it about four years ago, and fell in love with the delicate colours. I asked about it, but was told it was being propogated and wasn't ready for sale. I patiently waited and last year went to get it when it first appeared for sale in their catalogue. I was told that they had sold out! Thankfully, the owner overheard this exchange, and since I have bought so many plants from her, she went back to the field and got me a lovely clump. It bloomed for me last year in my garden, but since it is new, I cannot give a report for its performance in my garden. However, I can say that it has been hardy in our area since the local nursery I bought it from grows all cultivars for several years to check for hardiness and performance in our climate. I am anxious to see it in my own garden this year.

This one is a keeper. Clear soft Pink eye - looks delicate but it is not fragile at all.
Medium-fast growth at registered specs (maybe slightly shorter than 26" tall for me).
I have not tried to hybridize with it so no fertility report.

Love what you teach and teach what you love!

I thought I would post and update to my previous report.

Clouds of Kisses came through its first winter with flying colours and its first full bloom season in my garden did not disappoint. It was loaded with buds and each bloom opened perfectly. It had a long bloom season, and was still blooming late into daylily season here. The colours are beautiful, with the pink eye being a true pink. It makes a lovely plant for the front of the border.
