Norton and McAffee (there may be others) just wanted my first born...nah, they wanted me to register with them and give them my personal information and in return they gave me code to put on my site. I guess a new website is guilty until proven innocent.

It certainly is absurd. At any rate, I'm stuck between a rock garden and a hardscape. Either I comply or they stand outside my store with a sign that reads "bad people are doing business here and they're going to hurt you if you go in". It's a shake-down and I have to protect myself from the protectors.
