Bonnie, there are so many cuties on this thread. Could you list the top 5 of your favorites? I want to add some but not be overwhelmed by the choices.
Thanks
It was a door prize at our iris club a couple of years ago (or more). They might have gotten it from Suttons. It is an introduction by George Sutton. I don't know if Mike still lists it.
A very late bloomer for me was Caramel Topping that I got from Dee's sale last year. It got knocked out by heavy rain so I only got a few shots. I notice mine looks a bit more orange in the standards, but that is a feature of the late afternoon sun.
modern SDBs are a cross between TBs & I. pumila (a mountain species). Those are quite tough when let alone. the recent SDBs since 1970 are crossed with each other.
I love those three. The dotted beards are really neat and I love the colour of Cookie Monster. I will have to keep an eye out for Teagan since that is my granddaughter's name.
I really like Cookie Monster too. It is also at Winterberry. The Spoon's have quite an extensive list of dwarfs and other medians they hybridized and/or sell.

I believe many of you got Little Stitches from Iris Sisters this year, either by order or bonus. My Little Stitches was not only the first iris in my garden to bloom, but also the very last bearded iris to bloom! It had bloom bursts on and off for over 2 months. Here is a shot from the last bloom cycle (taken two months and one week after the first shots I posted at the beginning of this thread).

It was medium sized but very healthy. She is very generous with bonus Iris. She is second on my list who did the best this year. I think Suttons is going to win hands down.
Blessings
