This is such a tricky time of year here in Fountain. Days warm enough to turn the GH into the "death house" and yet still the chance of frost. Took a chance and moved everything out...and yup...you guessed it...frost. Some things that were doing well got nipped Glare Had fun at Lowe's and Home Depot, but it was more fun getting dirt under my fingernails nodding and along came the monsoons...with nights not quite warm enough to dry things out between rain drops...so now I have "lovely" pots and baskets growing beautiful mold and dead/dying flowers. Grumbling Oh well, maybe next year I will chill my jets to get started until after the last chill. Silver lining.....everything was really pretty until the rains came, but in truth we did need the rain here

Oh my gosh, I was not aware of any frost warning even around. I have been gone another week and saw no signs of it here, must just have been a local event.

Ginger was this earlier in the year? So sorry for the disappointment. Crying Usually we get an Easter cold snap here, I watch the Weather Channels forecast 10 days in advance to make sure freezes don't sneak up on me. I hope it's over now, I have reseeding zinnias by the dozens, I don't want them wiped out.

Frost was 3 weeks? ago and the rain was Easter week. Heavy rain again this weekend...in fact the thunder boomers have started.
