JB, nice to see you posting, glad to hear the pacemaker went well. Congrats on the new puppy, he does sound like a handful. Hilarious!

My 81 year old neighbor got the covid this winter, and he almost died, I am so happy that he survived, we have been good neighbors for 20 years, and he was really sick, they took him to the hospital 3 times. He has no idea where he picked it up as he and his wife mostly stay at home. I got my first covid shot in March, no problems, I am 82, DH got his in April, no problems, we are still waiting for the second shot..

JB, so good to hear from you! Glad to hear your pacemaker surgery went well, and you are staying well. Sorry to hear about Charles. It's always hard to lose a beloved pet. That new pup sounds challenging. I say ditch the caregiver one afternoon and take a drive to McDonalds and treat yourself. Looking forward to hearing about the Christmas tree farm happenings this season.

It's wonderful to hear from you again, Jacquie! I was worried about you!

Yikes on the Havanese pup. It does sound challenging and must be hard after having your Charle for so long. I hope the pup calms down with age and doesn't destroy too much!

I agree. If you feel like a short drive, do it. It helps to shake up your normal routine.

I'll watch for your next posts about the trees. Stay well. Thanks for coming by to post.

Well, I feel like I have neglected you all and I do apologize but there has been so much Covid around here that things were pretty much at a standstill over the holiday season; The State of NJ was on a lockdown for ages and yet there were a few people came out to buy their live Christmas Trees but we had to all wear masks and stay so many feet apart. It was difficult for families who needed our help cutting and kids were not staying away from other kids the way they should have but we made it and sold more trees than we really wanted to. We had hoped to only sell 100 but it was over 150 until all was said and done.
It is impossible for me to continuie because Jackson just came up on my lap. Hugs to you and keep in touch,

Here is another Sunday. It is 22 degrees and very windy here at Roblyn Farm. I have had enough of this cold weather.
Rob bought a tree planter. It came in a million pieces and it took him a day to put it together but it works. I must try and get a picture of this thing when he gets it out next time.
We have the field ready for planting and are anxiously waiting the arrival of 920 baby trees.
The planter is something like the tobacco planter the Amish use. You sit on it and you can plant while sitting. I have not seen it since it has been put together but I will get a pic soon I hope.
We will surely miss our dear Don this season. He used to sit and cut the long roots off the new babies before we plant them. That way the strength goes into the tree,
My little friend Jackson is being good at the moment. He has been a devil dog all morning. I can not imagine how life would be without him. Gotta run. See you soon again.

Thumbs up
