Medium-sized sport of 'Paradise Island'. Better leaf substance, a more vigorous growth rate, and more striking colours all improve upon its parent. Red petioles. This was an impulse buy in 2015 and I bought it from Loblaws garden centre rather than my local hosta nursery because the plants were twice as large and half the price. I did keep it in a pot for the season. It held up well all season. Please feel free to post your pictures of this hosta.

This one was new to me last year. I like it, but will have to ee how vigorous it is. The parent plant Paradise Island has done very well for me.

Glad your 'Paradise Island' is doing well. Mine has been struggling after its first year. Last summer I potted it and it did better. Can't think why as it's been grown only a couple of feet away from 'Fire Island' which does very well.
