Wow! Those are big hailstones and a lot of them! Last year at this time we got a bad hail storm and we had to delay going to market a week because the hail shattered all the leaf lettuce.

Flowers are beautiful!

Arlene,..hard to credit but earlier in the day i was sitting outside having a mug of tea,..it got cloudy and whoosh Hailstones,..yikes that was a disaster you had with the Lettuce being shattered to bits,..you must have being gutted to see the damage.

Pretty much how our hail storm came too. It was disheartening but the good thing is, leaf lettuce is cut and come again, and in this instance it was beat me up and come again! By the following week we had another crop to cut. Hilarious! I was actually remembering about our storm the other day because we start market next week and I am hoping it doesn't repeat.
