My greenhouse is finally ready. The heating is installed. So I did transplant my babies and put them in their new home. They are doing very nice. I hope they will enjoy the light and warmth there, and grow fast. The Arabicum rcn does have a darker color caudex than the other trees. Is that normal, or is it perhaps a black RCN.

The dark skin on RCN is normal with particular hybrids.
The greenhouse looks marvelous. They will surely enjoy that.

I know Kadie. They are already growing much faster than they did before. I can almost see them grow now.. I hope they have buds soon. Can you tell at the color of the caudex at this age what color they will be? I did notice that they all have different colors caudexes. Some are yellow, some are red and others are greenish. Sighing!

Oh okay. Young seedlings do have different caudex coloring. But because I grew hundreds of seedlings my first go-round, I didn't keep track of whether this or that tree retained the color they had when they were very young seedlings. So perhaps you could track yours and verify for us. nodding

That is to bad. I must say I am very curious to see if the color caudex does tell something about the color the bloom will get. So I will see if I can find a way to mark them.

I mark mine using a piece of milk carton. That I poked a hole with a hot icepick, and a thin sharpie.
It is pouring today and cold. So my plants are hiding inside for a few days.

I moved 18 of the 19 seedlings outside yesterday. They'll get afternoon sun and mottled sun otherwise. The only one remaining in the solarium is the "Green Giant".

Here is a little update on my seedlings in the greenhouse. They are doing great. Having a week with warm weather and sun right now.
So they seem to enjoy it very much. Growing fast and most of them already branching nicely. The last photo are my arabicums from Sundaram .

Hey, Willeke! In the 5 weeks since you finished your greenhouse and placed your babies, they have grown remarkably and have gotten fatter. Hurray! Hurray!

Willeke, They have truly grown so much. All looking so healthy and to think that it is only the beginning of summer! Your greenhouse is so clean and very well organized.
Very special place to hang out.

Thanks Rick. Yes they do very well. I sure hope they do bloom soon. I am very happy with my greenhouse. Although I can just stand there and move around. No place to sit though.
