Tsunami would have to come up over the Coastal Mountain Range to get to us. And we don't live by any rivers that might be affected by a tsunami. : )
Now the earthquake is something else. No tall building here in Dallas. That's a plus. : )

I read somewhere that fall is a good time to divide heuffelii. Whistling

Well maybe you can read this since you can't hear. Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing
I think I am going to try dividing some of my larger clumps of heuffelii this fall. That way they will be nicely rooted and ready to go to new homes next spring. Big Grin

35° Blinking We won't be getting that kind of weather until end of Oct or into Nov.
Right now we are having the most incredible gardening weather.

Going into the 30's here as well. This is not a good time to be transplanting or dividing here. Different climates.

Faye I am so glad you had a good time reading our very scientific analysis of Chris's heuff. 'Clinton'. I think the jury is still out on this one.

Well here we are at the end of Oct and we are now in the low 30's at night and high 50's daytime temps. Perfect gardening weather. The semps are really going through another big change in color. And the slugs are coming out from everywhere. : (

Twit here's your chance to get another person hooked on heuffelii. Whistling

I have to Ask what happened to the polka dotted Clinton plant? Blinking

Did it die or did it just change color? I'm all ears!

Love getting the rest of the story. Hurray! Hurray! Congratulations. I would be interested to hear if the new plants develop the same syndrome.
Thanks I tip my hat to you. I tip my hat to you.

Here's an updated picture. It's awfully dirty because its so dry here, then when I water it splashes on the leaves. Hard to get any good pictures right now.

That looks like mine after it rains.
Clinton looks wonderful Chris. I see it still has some of the green mottling on the leaves. I love it. I need to go out and see if mine does that.

Yeah, it does Lynn. Kind of an unusual one too. Oh no, I'm running a freak farm! I have a HUGE fasciated lily growing. Can't wait to see it in full bloom.
