I have a large pot with a lot of yellow - yellow leaved persicaria, Bowles golden grass, Campanula persicifolia and a blue scabious. I'm looking for a contrasting blue flowered trailer. I thought I'd use an annual

Any suggestions?

Other options are blue bacopa, scaevola, trailing verbena and trailing torenia. Torenia likes a more shady spot.

I think I might go with a blue verbena with lobelia as a fall back.

Thanks for the suggestions.

I love scaevola as well. I find it seems to agree with the watering zonal geraniums need.

I got a lovely blue Isotoma which was the best thing about the pot to be honest. A lot of the plants didn't do well this year. I'll be breaking down the pot and using it for bulbs for the Spring so will re-do it for Summer next year.

Yes, your choice was perfect. I have to put this on my must have list.

I love your choices, Sue!
