Yes, I think the tactic is "you don't want to eat me! Don't I look fearsome? Also, I would taste yukky." Bright colors often mean poison, and although I don't think BST cats are poisonous to eat, I bet they'd taste bad... Have you noticed how those moist orange "horns" really stink? Like all the bad parts of parsley flavor, concentrated.

How about the good ole wooly bear or wolly worm as they are called in some places....
Supposedly they foretell the upcoming winters.....Weird thing is that they are supposed to be black on either ends -- this one is all orange/red.... wonder what this means???

I have trouble with that one, Sandy! Seems like I'm destined to be around doctors. Osmetrium, only found in the swallowtail type of butterfly caterpillars. I've gotten a whiff of that stuff many times! Phew!
