I have divided my little boarder hosta and transplanted into 4" pots. I have 3 per pot. Our garden club has a plant sale every year the day before Mother's Day. My question is: What do you think I should charge for these? I am thinking $3.00 each. Is this too much or too little?

These are what I divided. The littler light green variegated ones.

And, If anyone knows the name - or has a guess, please let me know.
Thanks.
The larger bluish ones are from seed that I gathered 6 years ago and planted. It did take a while for them to get this size.

My guess would be Golden Tiara, and $3 for 3 eyes is a good deal. I would think you won't be taking any home with you at days end!

Thanks Rose, I was hoping that would be OK. I have 120 potted up. I could divide even more but I may save them for next year.

I agree with Rose. Looks like a 'Golden Tiara' indeed. Fairly common; so you don't want to ask too much. They might even go well for $4, but should definitely sell well at $3.

Thanks for the help. I am excited for the plant sale. I hope to have over 600 plants to donate. It will be a boost to the garden club. We donate to the city and the food pantry.

The plant sale is May 7th, It is always the day before Mother's Day. They are looking really good in their little pots.

Good!! You'll have a nice sale if they are looking good in their pots. Smiling
