I just tried adding the daylily 'It's a Dream' to my plant list. The plant is in the ATP database Daylily (Hemerocallis 'It's a Dream') , but it doesn't show up on the short list of plants when I type the name in when trying to add to the plant. (Fwiw, several other daylilies with the word "Dream" in the name show up as possibilities.)

There doesn't seem to be a way to scroll through the list of plants (I'm assuming that the entire list of plants that meet the search parameters are in the window, but we only see a part of it).

Is this maybe a function of my browser (Chrome), or is this a bug, or am I just not understanding what to do? Confused

That happens on occasion. Try typing in the Plant ID number instead. It is: 52096
That should bring up the proper listing.
For future reference, the Plant ID number can be found in the left column of the plant's database page (and in part of the address.) Smiling

You can add the plant from the plants database page. On the left hand side there is a blue button that says "add this plant to your list.

I never add a plant while working within my plant list, as you can see, the offerings are limited so when you have names with short words like 'it's' and 'a', it will try to give you some entries with those words, but it's limited in what it can display. I always add directly from the entry itself.

To add daylilies, first start from the database page and on the right side under the "Visit our custom databases:" click on the Daylilies.
Now, when you use the center search box, as you start typing, a drop down menu appears with instant matches. The more you type, the closer you get to the exact match.

Danita, I tried the number and it worked - thanks!

Larry, I'm sure I typed it correctly... and I tried several times.

Jay and Sue, I never thought to try adding the plant from the database listing itself. Thank you!
