This guy definitely isn't a jade- its leaves aren't as chunky as my jades at home, and they look as if they've been folded down the middle (I'm not sure of the exact terminology.)
This seems right! I've mulled through tons of species, though, and I can't find a match. I'll keep looking but if anyone has any further suggestions, they would be much appreciated.

Hi & welcome! Does your plant feel like a succulent? I think most (all?) Peperomias have alternate foliage. If it feels like a succulent, I'm at a loss. If it just feels like a stiff leaf, take a look at Nematanthus. There are several in the database here: http://garden.org/plants/searc...
The golden rule: Do to others only that which you would have done to you.
