are any of these places the same hardiness zone as jerusalem?

jay that is great help to me.sometimes i feel we belong to two different zones(hot and cold)
i see you are in zone 9a
does it mean there are similar plants conditions as in jerusalem?
i thought you arre all desert

David, regardless of your "zone" which really only indicates how cold it gets in winter, I would think your climate there would be most similar to Southern California, or even parts of Arizona.

Not sure you'll find a lot of plants similar to your native ones in Israel, but you are growing lots of things that will grow in both those place. By all means try to visit the Botanical Gardens when you are in the US.
