Saw this petunia and I think it's gorgeous! If you have grown it, how has it performed for you? Is it a good container/ hanging basket petunia? Self-cleaning?
Thanks for any info.

This variety is brand new to the market with a limited introduction for 2016, but should be widespread in 2017. Unless someone works at a garden where they trial plants before introduction, most gardeners are just now encountering it. I saw it at a nursery a couple of weeks ago. I couldn't decide if I thought it was cute or just looked like it had a mosaic virus! Hilarious! (It doesn't, the crazy spotting just reminds me of that. )

Thanks Danita. Yes, I just recently saw them at a nursery where our garden club enjoyed a presentation on herbs, etc. We did have an opportunity to purchase plants but the owner didn't feel these were quite ready to sell yet; Many of the members said they would return to snap up those gorgeous petunias. I see from your link that they are expected to be a popular seller. I will definately be giving them a trial this summer. Hurray!

The pattern changes depending on temperature according to this pdf file from the breeder. It would probably just be solid purple for me most of the year. Thumbs down

HamiltonSquare, I really like the petunia you found. It looks wonderful and reminds me of outer space.
