Has anyone done sunflowers?
how about black eyed susans?
And with Zinnias I'm assuming the single not double or triple flower work best?
Has anyone tried this with okra flowers???

Oh I see lots of hammering in my future! nodding

Black eyed susans pound very well but cut down the center some so it is not so high. Then pound the petals, the center and the stems and leaves. All pound very well.

Ferns do well. As do herbs such as parsley, dill, sage, thyme.

Thanks, Anna. Yes, johnny jump-ups usually work well, as do pansies. Depends on the moisture content.

Teresa, your best bet is probably muslin.

I bet so too, I need to go to a fabric shop for some quilting material so I may pic up some to try.

I love Johnny J. Ups they should be so cute, none here tho to use. I love the simplicity of ferns so I may try that first.

Welcome to ATPs cosmos! Darn I got my quilting materials and forgot to get some plain fabric for a couple of pillows. What is everyone using?

A cotton blend?
