"Maybe you should be gnawing on a chicken leg while getting the picture of that tie to get us back on subject"

Okay, I took your advice, Mary. Here's my shoffice chicken wearing my beloved tie!

Lastly, a final close-up of the tie so if I ever wear it you'll recognize me by the wonderful flowers and colors of the tie, a nowadays one of a kind.

Yeah, that's a good word. He'd turn a few heads anywhere he went. Bib overalls, straw hat, tie, bare feet. Original. And after all, who wants to be like everybody else? Oh, just don't look at the younger set, they're all so busy being different that they all look alike! Not Shoe, he is in a class by himself!

Hah! That's it in a nutshell. What a good perspective you have, Mary.

Now about that debonair part, NOT! Ya see, my avatar pic is from the very first DG Roundup. I had red hair then, not white/blond like now. By the way, shhhh...Dave took that pic when I was in Tennessee. Give credit where credit is due, eh?

Actually I like the picture that's on your MoonDance Farm site. Something about the blue shirt and blue eyes. I was just thinking that the flower on my hat might go very well with all your blue. Just sayin' Whistling

Ohhh, that pic. Well, it is more recent but not up to date. Still have the blue eyes though! Heck, probably still have the blue shirt! (I have more wrinkles now, and they're not in the shirt!)

Maybe I can borrow your new blue flowered hat sometime, Sharon! I love blue!

Hah! Sharon, are you chicken!!
Oops, I should change to to "Sharon, are you a scaredy cat!?"
Is that better, no reference to chickens? Rolling on the floor laughing

Thanks, All, for the comments on the tie. One day I'll wear it, I promise.
As for the chicken head, I used to take it to the mkt w/me and mount it on my water cooler. People knew there was free cool well water at the "chicken head" each Saturday.

It's mounted on a styrofoam mannequin head...I should've used it for my Garden Art scarecrow, right Vic?
