I usually forget to fertilize, but when it's time to clean out the worm bin I fertilize what needs it. Which reminds me, I need to clean out the worm bin......LOL!

We have a black compost box.
All year long collection of yard waste as well as household waste. Clay soil with rocks demands amendment ,so everyplant gets compost when put in the ground.
The bin is emptied in late fall as much as possible and contents of black box is put on our small vedg garden.
We have 10 yards of leaf compost in the driveway.
It will be spread on all the flower beds, this week.
