Well, they are planted in the ground near the Lewisia (sp). I amended the soil somewhat and top dressed with chicken grit. We'll see how it goes. They should get lots of sun and drain really well. I will have to cut back the artemesia next to it as it tries to take over the entire bed otherwise. I love its looks but it surely grows fast here. Wish Powis Castle would but no soap on that one. More of a zone 5 for sure.

I also planted my hepatica outside today. I ordered the seedlings a couple of months ago and have had them in the garage. The ones in the botanical garden are blooming so it would seem it should be safe for them to go out. Plus I don't think they liked my garage set up.

I would be embarrassed to show it. I doesn't look all that great. I am just hoping it is 'healthy' for the plants. We'll see if it develops. If not, it was certainly not due to a lack of great help and information here.
