I have a question about the posts. On DG, when someone post, that thread will go to the top of the page. They don't do that here. You have to scroll down to find a thread your watching. Am I doing something wrong?

You have to scroll down to find a thread you're watching if the forum has a lot of "sticky" threads...the sticky threads will always say at the top. After the "stickies" though...your thread does indeed jump to the top (but below the stickies) when someone posts something new.

Hello everyone, I love every one's wreaths! I have been in computer purgatory for the last week or so. My laptop started crashing while I was in Western New York, so I had to buy a new one, started the lengthy process of moving files... old computer kept shutting down so transfer of files has been, um, difficult! So, I had no photos available for a while. Anywhooooo, all moved now, finally. I know I'm past the contest but I still wanted to share what you all inspired me to make. Not so much a "Fall" wreath, more of a year round wreath, but it is made with wine corks from some of our favorite wines from our travels to Napa. It's a travelogue, really, and as we are heading that way next week (hooray!), it will live in our Motor home. Thank you all for the inspiration, and btw, I WILL be making a sedum/succulent wreath! I love that, Lin!

Or this. These photos were taken in Italian wine country this summer by my son.

Could be a contest in the making ... guess the number of corks in this picture frame. Hilarious!

Brenda: I love that cork wreath ... perfect for year round! I'm not a wine drinker but I may start asking my friends who do drink wine to save their corks for me! Big Grin Oh, it was Valleylynn (Lynn) who made that wonderful succulent wreath, not me. I only wish I had such creativity!

Nap: Those frames are so cool ... perfect for a winery or wine bar or restaurant that serves wine! Years ago I covered a photo frame with small sea shells and at a boutique a few years ago I saw a great mirror (for $$$$) that had the outside frame/edge covered in seashells that I thought about copying but never got around to it. I think gluing corks would be much less time consuming.
