My eyes aren't cooperating so this is just a wild guess but it reminds me of Deutzia of some sort. Check out these photos in the database for comparison: Slender Deutzia (Deutzia gracilis 'Nikko')

I have Deutzia and the flowers don't look like that. Maybe Verburnum?

Welcome Welcome! Very fragrant narrows it down a bit, so does having only four petals. Is this growing in a garden, or wild? Would you be able to post a picture of the whole plant?

The closest I can think of so far, since the flower doesn't quite fit mock orange, is a Daphne of some kind.

sooby, its growing wild and it's definitely not any of the suggestions listed so far. I;ll try to get a picture of the whole plant tomorrow but I think it's in the honeysuckle family. It is a bush but puts out runners that will coil around things around it.
