A stunning banner! Really fine job. Beautiful colors and great texture captured. Plus the pesky seam on this perhaps wider-than-most screens is barely visible. I tip my hat to you. Acorn

New to the site and so very very excited!! It is such a relaxing community and I want to learn more about some of the terminology and in navigating around the site. I too am a new "gardener" . Not new to flowers, just a first time outdoor mama! I will be looking for lots of help. Thanks to all

Thank you all, for your nice comments and thumbs-ups! My mum always had beautiful African violets on the dining room table. I can grow almost anything in my yard (if I pay attention to my zone), but I really have no luck with indoor plants at all. Somehow I manage to kill them all. However, in the past two years, since Mum passed, I've kept these alive in her honor, and they always surprise me when they bloom so nicely.

Lovely sentiment, Nancy.

And @overdunn98 Welcome! You should check out the "Welcome and Help Center" forum. On the top left side of this page, click on "Forums" and scroll all the way down to the bottom; you'll find it. On the way, you'll likely come across other forums that will catch your eye too. There's lots of good stuff here.

Nancy, I was never very interested in African violets until my mom passed away and I inherited hers. They are blooming nicely with very little care, so I'm happy about that.
