Beautiful bloom! Slow to grow for me but may be its location ( will move it this year)
No attempt to hybridize so no report on fertility.

Love what you teach and teach what you love!

It was a gift plant for many of us at the 2012 AHS Convention. At first I didn't have room in the garden and was going to donate it, so I put it in a pot for the rest of the summer. Then it bloomed and the bloom was so gorgeous I decided to keep it. It has good plant habits, too, as I later found out. It has made a big clump by now and also has found a permanent garden spot.

1st bloom year for Classy Columbus and I am impressed by how well it did. Blooms look just like pictures and opens nicely. It did not get quite as tall as it should, but that happens a lot with my new plants. Should be even better next year.
