Individual beds: semps, jovis, and sedums get the sand and the other rockery/alpines are topped with compost.

Yes, it was a disaster waiting to happen Would've taken out power lines to 3 other houses and crushed an unknowable number of raised beds. Plus, its being gone means I no longer have to cover those beds with shadecloth in the fall to keep tree debris out of the semps.

I have people who work for me when we're doing client work. This past week we worked here (between client work) - there's always weeding. We start a new job this week, so it's back to client work.
