'Nancy' is a relative newcomer - new to me in spring 2013. It's a small hosta of unknown parentage. It's one of the few bright gold hostas with heavily substanced leaves in the small to medium size category. Very shiny, rippled, yellow leaves, especially in early spring. I divided mine and had a smaller division for a friend called Nancy, but she came by when I was away and accidentally got my larger division. So my later season pictures are of the smaller division. Please feel free to share your pictures of this hosta.

I found my tag for Nancy, but it's quite a distance from a small hosta that's just coming up. Does it come up yellow or green in your garden? I'll have to keep an eye on it and see if it's Nancy or a seedling!

These are the two earliest pics I have of Nancy emerging last season. Both are in the first half of May.

I'll have to look but I think this one is more green...probably just a stray seedling. I'll have to add Nancy to my "replace this plant" list.
