Found this along the county road. O. sukdorfii or O. corniculata are my best guesses, any clues? I'm in the Pacific NW and this is a roadside weed.

Deb, Did you try pulling one up? The bulb, or lack of a bulb could be a clue.

I did not. Just snapped a picture while walking my dog. Ran across the image in my NOID photo folder and thought I'd try to ID it. Kind of a never-ending quest to figure out what my local weeds actually are, to sort out which ones I should pull and which are true natives. It's an interesting process.

That's a very common weed here very cute but will take over Smiling
Oxalis stricta
I was curious about the new weed library listed on the left. I looked and there it was under wood sorrel

I've got three different Oxalis in my yard. I leave a bit of the pink, and a few of the tall yellow ones that we called sour grass when I was a kid, but that creeping Oxalis that comes in every nursery pot and tries to take over my lawn is the pits! Thumbs down

Agree with O. stricta, not a bulb. Perennial.
