The monarchs here seem to ignore all my a. tuberosas. When they fly through, they are all over my Black Adder agastache, though the a. tuberosas are surrounding it. I planted three other types of milkweed this summer hoping they might encourage breeding. They do make pods like mad. I have been cutting them off and offering them to friends and neighbors.

jmorth - I don't think those were whiteflies accompanying the aphids on my milkweed. If so, they didn't hand around. But the aphids didn't hang around either after I blasted them with the hose.

Which plant were you referring to when you said A.Tuberosa? Mine or Alice's?
