I'm moving to pismo beach area in ca. & I'm wondering if red maple will grow in that climate zone. Thanks

Do you know the zone # for that area? Google tells me that a Red Maple Tree grows in Zone 3-8. Zone 9 is pushing it. Gene

Pismo Beach area is zone 9b/10a...Red Maple would have a tough time with that.
