Our season here is winding done. A few more with buds coming. We've had some

My TBs are just starting and I am going to visit a garden next week so it will probably be two weeks before I reply.

Bottle Rocket - love it!

All but the first two are new bloomers for me this year.

I forget sometimes that we're in so many different time and planting zones
I'm hoping for some re-bloomers to perform! It's been a good show so far.

Janie, I like That's All Folks too. I didn't think I'd like a bright yellow iris, but
its form is on steroids! It has great confidence!

I fell for several irises that I saw bloom for the first time this year. I took well over 3000 photos this bloom season. They weren't all of irises, but the majority of the photos were. So I'm sure I'll make several posts highlighting some of my favorites from this season.

Omigosh, Jan -- I had so many new-to-me blooms this year -- and I haven't had time to post my bloom pictures -- I'm just not really ready to get to this part.

But -- I have to tell you -- I actually fell in love with a new-to-me Iris this year. "New Face" just blew me away.
My pictures don't do it justice.

Mary Ann, I'm jealous! My 'New Face' didn't bloom this year... and now I apparently have to get 'Role Reversal'..

I had a lot of pretty blooms this year.. I was surprised at how much I liked 'Beaux Arts' from 1969.


I'll do some of the older ones that were first time bloomers this year..

'Ola Kala' is just a happy presence in the garden. It's that perfect color of yellow.


'Mary Frances' is just lovely and has had a lot of blooms.

Great pictures everyone, In a week or two I should have some too if the frost on Saturday doesn't hurt them.

Can't wait to see them!

I'm glad that your season is slow this year Tom -- mine will be over by then and it will be nice to have another one via yours!!!

Nice pics everyone. Just getting flower stalks on the sdb's here. Maybe they will be starting to bloom when I get home Monday. if the frost doesn't get them, as with Tom.

How could I forget these two? They fall under my personal
