My Supreme Sultan was outstanding - but in an odd way. It doesn't
look like my usual color palette! It really stood out among the pastels - but in an unusual way.
Like it didn't belong.
Some time ago, when I was looking for BIG flowers, it was recommended to
me. Actually, it was of average size in my garden. I'm going to move it - maybe with
some browns and yellows. .. .. because I like it. Just needs a new spot

Racing Heart was one I parted ways with. Just didn't do much for me.

And I received Racing Heart that looked lovely last year, but did not bloom this year.

Seeing some great ones! Bottle Rocket is one I just ordered from Mid-America gardens. Florentine Silk has impressed me this only. Only year 2 and it has lots of blooms.

Velvet Underground bloomed very early and is one of my favorite colors.

Jan, Supreme Sultan is one that looks out of place in my front garden too. I may move it to the back. I do really like it and get lots of requests from people walking by wanting a piece.
Thumb of 2016-05-16/stilldew/da03a6 Impressionist had been very nice this year too.

At our iris show, Supreme Sultan won the People's Choice Award. That one was huge and perfect but did not win Queen of Show. It is not one of my personal favorites and I thought I had given it away but saw that it appeared this week in a temporary bed so I must have moved it and didn't remember. It is hard to place for me also because I love the pastel blue/yellow/purple/pink palette.
