Hi, I'm new here. I think I recognize a few of you from other succulent groups. I have no idea what sempervivum this is. It is fairly large and the tips can turn a deep red. Right now it is mostly green though. Two are blooming, and the one that has babies is not. I got this Semp from Walmart several months ago. I would go in and see it sitting there week after week and finally worked up the nerve to buy it. so I have no idea how old they are. Just happy that there are some babies. I have a cheap phone so the pictures never come out very well but I still wanted to share.

Hi Serina, and welcome to the Sempervivum and Jovibarba forum. So nice to meet you.
What sweet pink blooms on your new semp.
If it didn't come with a name tag there is no way we can identify it for you. But do not dispair, many of us have our much loved NOIDs.

Welcome!
this is a great place to learn. i'm kind of new here too. It looks like from the picture that your semps are inside the house. they really will do better outside, in some shade in Texas. Smiling

I also thought that they were indoors Jo Ann. But enlarge the photo and you will see that they look to be on a terrace.

Thank you all. Yes, these guys are out on our porch outside. We live upstairs but have a large porch area. I move them so that they get morning sun and shade in the afternoon.

Hi Serina, Welcome! to NGA! Texas can be a tricky place to grow semps, but hopefully some of our Texas members will join in and give you some tips on their experiences. Enjoy the pretty little semp flowers while you have them!

Thank you all for the warm welcome. I am enjoying looking at all your Semp pictures.
Chris, I recently purchased some Sempervivum from you! The Fuego has opened up nicely with the warm weather, and so far appear to be doing well. Lots of chicks are starting to poke out as well!
