I'm a butterfly gardener myself, and a Florida native so I have to live with the weather year-round. Let me tell you, you're in the right place. I get lots of purple finches, American gold Finches and lots of different birds in my gardens. I live in Prince Edward Island Canada for the 6 months of spring , summer and fall and in Florida for the winter. I have planted a butterfly flower garden and I planted Minarda beebalm for the humming birds. I have a lot of bird feeders and water available for the birds
