Welcome! Hello there! I'm Melanie, the friendly moderator. When you get a minute, it's always helpful to fill out the profile info so it shows in the top corner of your messages. I always feel silly calling people by their usernames. We also have a thread dedicated to showing off our bird photos. We do one thread for each month. Feel free to drop in there and post your pics! The thread "Bird photos - May 2016" in Gardening for Butterflies, Birds and Bees forum

I'm a butterfly gardener myself, and a Florida native so I have to live with the weather year-round. Let me tell you, you're in the right place. It was melting hot here today and the mosquitoes are getting bad. We also have a butterfly thread so feel free to visit that, too! Just poke around and let us know if you need any help!
