When I went out for lunch today passing some roadside plant and flower store. Finding these doubles for IDR 10.000 ( about USD 0.75) per pot. Such a lucky day.

The doubles come as portulaca fairytale with princess name. Pink one is Rapunzel. Yellow and orange as Cinderella. I will post the picture if i found another princess (white, yellow, orange, and magenta).

I didn't realize that there was a specific forum for purslane, but I'm so glad I ran across this today I had pretty good luck with purslane last year, in our dry sandy Florida soil, and some of it even lived through the winter, so I'm in love Here's my first double flowered 'Cinderella'- found in a local nursery -

Actually I think its not true double since inner petal not as wide and long as the outer ones. Just like steril staminodes which also occur on other flower such as on some paeony cultivars. What do you think ?

Yes, the inner part of the flower is composed of 'petaloid' stamens.
