Please help me to identify this flower: short, purple color and very pungent smell.
Planted in gardens but also grows wild on the sides of the road.

Can you tell us where in the world this is growing Kari?
It would help if you update your profile to put your location.

Updated location in my profile, it grows in Israel and JRsbugs is probably correct - it does look like Plectranthus neochilus.

Thanks for that Kari. There are a lot of Plectranthus species but this one seems to be popular in several places around the world.
