I found this plant out in a dry desert type area near Cedar City, Utah. It has some kind of a curved cashew shaped seed or fruit green with red spots that is hard on the outside, but when opened resembles the texture of a grape on the inside. The plant itself is a small shrub with lots of small slender leaves that look almost fernlike.
I have no idea what plant that is but I'm really curious ... those seed pods are gorgeous! Hopefully someone from the SW will be along before long with an ID.
