Well, I went and got another one. I didn't know what the WITWIT badge was but accidently found out. I have enough acorns for 1 more. I am going to wait and think on it for awhile.

I'd sure love it, CS! I've only been on the forum since March, so I haven't been able to amass many! I was able to put in on this raffle, but probably not in June unless miracles happen!

Just remember, you can earn acorns by submitting photos, reports, and other info to the plant database. With spring and summer upon us, no doubt you have some pictures you can contribute or some growing information for some plants... Thumbs up

Hello Barbalee.

I have a few to spare as well, so you might as well benefit from them. I tip my hat to you.

Unfortunately, DogsNDaylilies, I have nothing to report as this is my first year gardening. I've had a grand total of three blooms. One of them was a mis-named daylily, and the other two I bought as they were about to bloom. I can't take credit for any of those...but just wait! I have 96 daylilies planted and growing fine as far as I can tell! My time will come!

@Barbalee , if you're just starting out gardening and are interested in things other than daylilies (annual flower seeds, perennial flower seeds, and vegetables...seeds of all types!), I HIGHLY recommend joining my/our seed swap ("All Seeds Swap")! Well, to be true, I'd recommend it whether you're a new gardener or not, Rolling my eyes. but it would be especially useful for you, I think, if you're interested in starting any plants from seed. Smiling

If you're interested, check it out! We'd love to have you join! Registration starts tomorrow, but you have plenty of time to get acquainted with how it works because the actual swap isn't for a few months:

Edited to add:

...oh, and did I mention?...last time around there were a good number of daylily cross seeds! Whistling

@DogsNDaylilies, I've never grown anything from seed. I won some on the lily auction and they should be here soon. Because I'm brand new to this, I wouldn't have any seeds to swap! This looks like a great fun thing to do, but how does one grow some perennial to get seeds to swap? See, I know nothing!! Thanks for the offer...I have to skip until I learn a whole lot more (and grow a whole lot more!)

Oh, Barb.... You're surrounded by enablers. We will have you growing from seeds in no time.

Barbalee - I know someone willing to send newbies free seeds. It's a little late to sow in the southwest for this spring but you could do some of the fall sow seeds in a couple months. Easy flowers you just toss out into the garden or put in a pot. That's a good way to start.
If you're interested send me a mail message.
