Hi Dave,

Not a grouch just an inconsistancy report.

When you post an image it is sent for approval and the message you receive says you will be notified when it is accepted. However so far I haven't received any 'image accepted' notices, and I have posted and had accepted around 100 images now.

It isn't important but its just one for the back burner.

Yes, that is definitely high on my TODO list.

I am trying to figure out a good solution, something other than tree mail, because if I use tree mail your mail will be cluttered with hundreds (or thousands) of notifications of approvals from the system!!

So, I think I have to develop a system notification tool...

How about incorporating it somehow into the info in our Profiles?

But in the profile it shows you your accepted immages. Isn't that enough?

Why, so it does. I hadn't looked lately; I thought it just showed the ones submitted. Hmmm, maybe if the Profile tab was highlighted when something changes, like a badge being added or a photo or comment accepted? Like it is when you get mail?

Over on DG we never got notices, I just used to check my profile for the image counts, clicking on it to see which images were the latest updated into the system. It also showed a separate list to click on that showed which ones were still in the pending queue.

I check the pending queue and the latest uploads also. If I see my acorns have gone up then I know that something happened.

Indded so do I but the input screens actually SAY you will receive a notification, which is the inconsistancy I was drawing Dave's attention to in the begining. Removing the comment would solve the problem just as well and much more easily!

Carol is right. The screen does say you'll get notification, and it is my intention to provide that notification. Smiling
