I have had this plant for several years and I have not found anyone that has a clue what this plant is. Looking for some help here.

That was fast! My first thought was Croton, but I'm bad at ID's. Let's wait for people who are better at this.

Thank you Horntoad. I am amazed at the response time. Now I know how to take better care of this plant. Is there a suggested way of when and how to propagate Acubas?

I'm kicking myself...I've even had that plant in the past. Thanks, @Horntoad!

I know you just recently joined and are still learning the site so here are a couple of tips.
1. In the quote about it looks like you copied the image address and pasted it to the post. To make the gif show, just place the cursor where you want the image to appear the click left click on the gif. Thank You! , the actual gif now shows in the thread, not just the link.
2. Don't add a new ID request to an old thread. Always start a new thread for the new plant. It makes it easier for members to see and help.

@Catfish Hi Mike, Welcome!

Not real familiar with a lot of Cacti, but give Astrocylindropuntia sublata a look.

Aucuba japonica 'Variegata' is the Gold Dust Plant. That's one of it's common names.

There are other plants using 'gold dust' as a cultivar or common name, so I'd say it's a gold dust plant.

(Also used by Codiaeum variegatum and Dracaena surculosa.)
