I am such a plant junkie. Walmart had their Siberian iris, glads,
Asiatic lilies, etc for half price yesterday. I came home with 5 bags! Just over $10.

Does anyone else watch for these sales? I may see what Lowes and H. Depot have too. lol

Yep. Last weekend Lowes had 75% off on boxed bulbs. I bought small dahlias, larger dahlias, liatris, Oriental lilies, hollyhock roots, and dutch iris. And tall yellow lilies.

I potted the hollyhock roots up the other day and am happy to see green growth on them this morning!!! I usually don't have much luck with boxed roots. Hurray! Hurray!

Yep, DH and I stopped by HD on the way to visit friends yesterday and I found a large bag of dwarf canna bulbs on clearance. I want to use them in pots.

HD had some Clematis Jackmanii in bags for 50% but after shaking and looking into the bags - I couldn't see the roots/stems- so I passed on them. They were all very dry.
I may have to check them again to see what's left if they're down to 75%...

I bought 2 bagged Clematis earlier this year. Both were duds. I saved the package and hope to send off and get my money back. We usually have tons of Clematis in Lowes or Wal Mart, in the bags. This year they were scarce.
