I like my English Charm but it only blooms every other year. I don't think it is as happy in the heat as some of Blyth's other iris. How lucky you are to have rebloom!

No kidding! One of our generous ATPers sent me English Charm a couple of years ago. It has bloomed both of the past two years, but no rebloom. OTOH -- I have very few Irises reblooming here. I think you're right Leslie -- the excessive heat is hard on them. And I don't give them any extra attention either -- so they have to be really intrepid. Feedback is practically a no-fail, and last year Daughter of Stars rebloomed too. And one year Champagne Elegance rebloomed. Shrug!

I'm glad you got to see some of your blooms, Mike -- they're lovely. Smiling

Well if English Charm blooms every other year for you Leslie, maybe mine just hasn't bloomed yet. Shrug!

Thanks! English Charm reblooms here, but not every year. My strongest rebloomers are Rosalie Figge and St Petersburg; both rebloom every year here in England; in France RF reblooms every 3 months on average; SP usually twice a year. I need to check out Feedback.
The Blyth rhizomes I received a few weeks back are galloping away, lots of growth and increases on everything except Brilliant Idea, but even that is now showing a little green. The info that came with the rhizomes said that the first year's bloom might be affected by the switch from Australia to here - has that been the experience of people who have ordered direct from Tempo Two?

Call me anything, just don't call me late to dinner! Hilarious!

Mika, I had some of the irises that were sent from Tempo Two. About half of them bloomed that same fall, but the blooms were not up to par with what they were in subsequent years.

Thanks, Tom - I'm pretty sure none of them will bloom before next year; they only arrived about 3 weeks ago. I still keep rushing out to check on them and count the increases!

This is an older iris, first year blooming for me. Visiting Royalty - a bit of a changling in that it appears quite dark in shade but much brighter in sun. It took two years to bloom, but really produced increases during that time.

And here are my only two shots of Girl Trouble. At least I know she bloomed! Only one bud sadly.

This one was a bonus from Iris Sisters. You get really great bonuses with your order and this one was outstanding.

Thanks! I had ordered a lot of them last year and was pleased with how many bloomed. I think all of the ones I got from Iris Sisters did.
