Thread OP

Our condominium community needs trees/shrubs no taller than fifteen feet to avoid obstructing the water view of Northern Condos while providing privacy for those Condos to the Bay which lies to the South. We are in Zone 5, with moderate climate.

There are many Japanese Maples that stay under that size that have great color and do well in zone 5.

The most common one would be Emerald Green Arborvitae in the 8 to 12 foot area. Not good if you have deer problems.
