I soaked when they arrived at 4 and planted already around 8 tonight. Just me the floodlight, hose, and mosquitos. Strapped for time lately, so had to do what I had. Luckily the soil's rich in the garden so it wasn't tough to get er' done after dinner. My others are taking off since planted last week. Two have scapes coming out also rain predicted tomorrow too

Glad to see Bob Selman (Blueridge) had so many fans here. I'm in that group too. Been ordering from him for years and have gotten many nice bonus plants and still grow a couple of his registered ones too. His prices may be a little higher than some, but you really get your money's worth from him.

Great to know I'm not the only night gardener! Mosquitos have been bad this year. We're within a mile of a semi-wild river and the city never sprays? Big rains do wash colonies away but we really haven't had a good one yet this year. Concerns over the Zika Virus have council considering spraying? Spray or not I'm buying a fogger tomorrow....

@WES We recently purchased a Dyna Trap to help get rid of mosquitos, we were amazed at how many it trapped it is making a huge difference in our yard. Our city also does not spray and they now have these guess they are called run off ponds, one is within a half mile of our place. You plug the trap in and leave it run continuously it will take up to two weeks to get the mosquito population down. The trap comes in two sizes we got the half acre size for our back yard and may get another one for our front yard. Here mosquitos also carry other diseases so for us it is very good to keep them down since my DH has a compromised immune system.

The city sprays on the rich side of town here. My land is mostly wooded, so there's probably no escape. 95° of steam also doesn't help...
